Heritage Open Day - Friday 9th September

The mill has long had a path made of Cowen's bricks (the factory was nearby, in Blaydon Burn)

This year we have an exciting new feature coming - see below for details!

Buy a copy of Brickworks of the North East - bag yourself a treasure and support the mill at the same time!

This summer, Chris Tilney of Consett and his son will be building a feature wall of local heritage bricks at Path Head Water Mill!

Work is planned to start in late June, and it will be officially unveiled at a Heritage Open Day event on Friday 9th September.

There will be a guided walk of Blaydon Burn, the site of Cowen's Brickworks, as shown on the cover of the book.
