Technology Tom

Families had an exciting day of free activities with Technology Tom as he demonstrated various water machines for pumping, raising and utilising water - all involving audience participation and thoroughly enjoyed by children and adults alike. Many were recreations of ancient water technology, including work from the Roman architect and engineer Vitruvius.  Children were also given the chance to make their very own waterwheel to take home.
